*Primary insomnia is insomnia without an underlying medical cause or any other clear cause.

Ask your pharmacist – they will advise if CIRCADIN is right for you.
How does CIRCADIN work?
Not all melatonin products are the same.
CIRCADIN’s prolonged release formulation has been developed to mimic the natural release of our body’s own melatonin, to restore healthy sleep.
It means that after you take the tablet, which should be swallowed whole 1 to 2 hours before your chosen bedtime, the active ingredient (melatonin) is gradually released and absorbed by your body over 8-10 hours throughout the night, reproducing the body’s natural melatonin secretion cycle – which is less during the day and more at night.
CIRCADIN works by gradually releasing melatonin to increase your natural tendency to sleepiness and promote refreshing sleep – just as the release of natural melatonin produced by your body does.
How and when do I take CIRCADIN?
Swallow your tablet whole with a full glass of water – DO NOT crush, chew or divide your tablet as CIRCADIN tablets have been specially designed to gradually release melatonin while you sleep.
If you crush, chew or divide the tablet it will not work properly.
Take ONE tablet at the same time each day
1-2 hours before bedtime
